Ross Midgley, Director PBD

Moodle Minimalism

PBD, a training provider specialising in early years and playwork which makes extensive use of e-portfolios and e-learning. A former geneticist, lorry driver and accountant, Ross - together with his wife Alison - set up a group of children’s nurseries in 2001, which they subsequently sold to a large national provider before starting PBD.

Ross will discuss the reasons for selecting Moodle, the pros and cons, the development journey and the compromises which he made – and those which he resisted - in realising the vision.
