HowToMoodle Advances in Courses

by Ray Lawrence on | Sep 12, 2012 | News | 0 comments

We recently announced the launch of our latest advanced Moodle courses, developed specifically for those who wish to extend their knowledge beyond essential Moodle functionality.

The new advanced courses, both one day events, aim to help those who have mastered the basics of Moodle and want to extend their skills to ensure they can get the most out of the more advanced options that Moodle offers.

Our new Moodle Course Management course explores key concepts that enable trainers, teachers, tutors and course designers to better manage access to their courses and organise and monitor users within them, as well as improving the experience for facilitators and learners by automating the availability of content and activities.

The Course Creator Extended course is a natural progression for course designers who want to explore the more complex Database, Lesson and Workshop modules.

HowToMoodle’s Managing Director, Ray Lawrence, comments on the new course offering;

“We’ve supported our clients on how to utilise the more advanced Moodle options on a bespoke basis but increasingly clients have been asking us for structured courses to help them grasp these advanced concepts. In response to client demand we’ve extended our popular essentials course formats for those who have already taken the first steps with Moodle and now want to develop their knowledge and skills to inform more sophisticated course design. We are delighted to offer these new courses to help users and we’re pleased to report that the response to the new course offerings so far has been really positive.

Both courses take place at our London venue, or alternatively can be delivered onsite at client’s locations.
